Christian Galilee
Early in the morning, we depart from your hotel ⛅ and head to Nazareth — the heart of the New Testament events.
After immersing ourselves in the atmosphere of the Annunciation, we continue to the Yardenit Baptismal Site,
where you can step into the waters of the Jordan River 💦. After lunch, we travel along the scenic Sea of Galilee 🌅:
in Tabgha we recall the miracle of the loaves and fishes 🥖🐟, in Capernaum we stroll among the ruins of the “town of Jesus”
and visit the house of the Apostle Peter, and on the Mount of Beatitudes we enjoy breathtaking views across all Galilee.
In the evening, we return to the hotels — you’ll still be on time for dinner 🍲.

Nazareth
- Basilica of the Annunciation – the largest Christian church in the Middle East, built on the site where the Archangel Gabriel announced to the Virgin Mary the birth of the Son of God
- Mary’s Grotto (Cave House) – the sacred site where, according to tradition, the Virgin Mary lived and where the Annunciation took place
Nazareth is the city where Jesus spent his childhood and youth, and is mentioned in the Gospels as the center of his early life before his public ministry began.
Yardenit — Baptismal Site on the Jordan River
A modern pilgrimage center on the Jordan River, where everyone is welcome to participate in the ritual of baptism or immersion in these sacred waters.
Here you can:
- Take memorable photos with the biblical landscape
- Take part in the immersion ceremony (swimsuit and towel recommended)
- Shop for souvenirs to remember your visit to this holy place
Lunch (not included)
Stop for lunch at a café or kibbutz by the Sea of Galilee. Your guide will offer menu options to suit all tastes and budgets.
We recommend trying the local Saint Peter’s fish (tilapia), which is unique to the Sea of Galilee.
Northern Shore of the Sea of Galilee
- Tabgha – Church of the Multiplication, built on the site where Jesus fed 5,000 people with five loaves and two fishes. Benedictine monastery.
- Capernaum – archaeological park with remains of the ancient synagogue where Jesus preached. The house of Apostle Peter, considered the first Christian church.
- Mount of Beatitudes – the site of the Sermon on the Mount, with a stunning lookout and chapel overlooking the entire Sea of Galilee.
The Sea of Galilee (Lake Kinneret) is Israel’s largest freshwater lake, where many Gospel events took place, including Jesus walking on water.
